Bethany Collette was shot and killed by her boyfriend after she and another woman were taken hostage.

The suspect barricaded himself in an apartment in Indianapolis during the early hours of January 13. The other woman was able to escape after a SWAT team stormed the building.

Tragically, just hours earlier, Bethany had sent messages to her friend telling them ‘I need to get out of here’.
