Chioma Nwanna was set ablaze by her husband during a domestic dispute.

He accused her of having an affair and in a fit of rage, doused her with petrol and set her on fire.

“This was out of anger. I don’t know when I did it. In fact, there was a spirit that entered into me (and forced me to set her ablaze),” he said.

“I feel so bad that I killed her because I loved her so much,” he claimed.

Chioma sustained severe burns and was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to her injuries the next day.

She was a mother to six children
