Rachel was killed by her former boyfriend at her home.

Police believe he fled the scene after the murder and was later found with “critical injuries” and declared dead.

Rachel grew up in Palmerston, New Zealand 

“She was generous, vibrant, loyal, and looked forward to many adventures with her precious son” her family said.
