Adriana was shot and killed by the ex-husband of her girlfriend.

He cut off and shot at a vehicle containing his ex-wife and her girlfriend. When police arrived, they found him claiming that he had shot someone.

Adriana and Yari Rodriguez, her girlfriend, were located in a nearby vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. Adriana was pronounced dead at the scene, while Yari was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Yari said after ending her relationship he became “increasingly angry.” He threatened the couple in person and through text messages. He had told them he was going to kill them and send them to hell.” He had even placed trackers inside her car.
