Haleigh was shot and killed by her brother.

Haleigh had been at the home of her mother and brother when he pushed her outside, and locked the door’s dead bolt.

This enraged Haleigh, who began beating on the door, demanding entry. He was at the door yelling back at Haleigh. The door suddenly swung open and that’s when he shot Haleigh in the face. She fell to the ground and he shot her two more times.

Their mother said that the relationship between them was usually confrontational as he did not approve of her lifestyle or how she raises her children.

Immediately after the shooting, he called 911 and told them he had just shot his sister.

Haleigh was a Mother to three young boys. Her family said “The role of Motherhood completed her life which brought her so much joy.”

“There are so many ways that we could use to describe her: stubborn to a fault, stunningly beautiful, true believer in faith, smart, dedicated, opinionated, a dreamer, but I would have to say one true quality would be charismatic”
