Laura was one of the two victims killed during an armed robbery at a gas station.

The gunman died the next day in a shootout with deputies who were trying to arrest him.

“She was literally an angel on earth,” her husband said. “She was beautiful inside and out.”

Laura loved animals and children and had hoped to work as a child advocate. She was a Mother to one son.
