Jamie Hagen was shot and killed by her Fiancé. The suspect had what was described as a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Court documents show Jamie had filed a protection order against the suspect two days after he allegedly assaulted her and threatened her and her daughter in December. He was charged with terroristic threats, third-degree domestic assault resulting in injuries and child abuse no injury.

He was taken back into custody in early January for violating his bond by contacting Jamie. He posted bond and killed Jamie the next day.

They had been engaged following a two-year relationship.
