Aleta’s body was discovered in her apartment.

Family members hadn’t seen her in a few days, and when they contacted [apartment] management, they let them into the apartment, where they found her body.

Police estimates Aleta had been dead for two or three days when she was found.

He had previously been arrested for domestic violence, and had informed the officers at the time that she had real fear that he was going to kill her.
